It’s ok to not be ok. But sometimes, no matter how hard you try, the worse matters appear. When anxiety, depression, stress, trauma or another mental health challenge prevents you from living how you want, it’s time to reach out for help.

Confidential counselling services will provide you with the space to have safe, open, honest conversations. By exploring your innermost thoughts and feelings we’ll discover where you are now, your perceived obstacles and set a course to take you to where you want to be.
No two people react to stress in the same way, which is why it’s important for us to work together to identify a tailor-made approach. Using evidenced psychological interventions like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focussed Brief Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) you’ll become more aware of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. This can help you manage your own mental health and bounce back from life’s adversities.
This integrative counselling approach can provide you with a practical toolkit to call on whenever life gets tough.
We all live our lives according to our own unique set of values. But when we live in a way that doesn’t fit with those principles, we may feel trapped, discontent or unhappy.
We’ll mutually agree on realistic goals and work together to establish a solution-focussed plan of action to help resolve the issues you’re facing. This process will give you the opportunity to set realistic and achievable stepping stone goals so you can begin to see and feel the progress you are making.
Individual counselling sessions aim to aid commitment to change, help you feel more resilient and provide you with an improved set of tools to help you cope better with life’s challenges.
Maintaining a strong, positive relationship is sometimes challenging. If your relationship is foundering, couples counselling provides the impartial, caring support you’re looking for.
Relationship counselling gets the best results when both partners work together and my role is to be there, equally, for both of you. Our sessions will start by establishing the expectations and assumptions of each party before giving you both the opportunity to explore how you perceive the relationship.
We’ll move on to establish what a life, that works for you both, looks like.
After an initial chat on the phone, I meet all my clients in person so we can form a solid working relationship and agree how to proceed. Following this meeting, you can choose to continue with face-to-face counselling or switch to telephone counselling if that’s more convenient.
